Organizers Postpone South Dakota Education and Agriculture Conference

SIOUX FALLS (June 3, 2022)—Ground Works/SD Ag in the Classroom and South Dakota State University have decided to postpone the 2022 South Dakota Education & Agriculture Conference.

Originally scheduled for June 8–9 in Brookings, the event was designed to bring leaders together from both sectors to explore ways to enhance classroom learning and reinforce the integral roles agriculture plays within the state.

A new date is yet to be confirmed. However, conference organizers remain steadfast in their commitment to hosting the event as well as optimistic about its potential outcomes.

“We are eager to find a date and time that will bring even more people to the table,” said Tim Olsen, executive director of Ground Works/SD Ag in the Classroom. “Agriculture and education are two critically important sectors, and we want to ensure this event is positioned to have maximum impact on the future of South Dakota.”

Refunds for conference registrations and graduate credit requests will be issued within the next 7-10 business days.
